Here is a really interesting article about the state of the art in unmanned vehicle research. What I found interesting in these articles was the references to these vehicles being capable of autonomous operation. I would have thought at this point based on our militaries experiences in Afghanistan and Iraq they would focus on remotely piloted versions of these vehicles.

Seems that they have a mandatory swimming test at MIT that all students must complete in order to graduate. This gives pass / fail type classes a whole new meaning.

Too funny. I found this on digg. It's a link to an application that lets you enter a message or a graphic that is then displayed on an LED Sign. I have no idea where the sign is but the execution is pretty good.
